About Us

Where we are from

Jason was born and raised in New York City. Originally from Manhattan, his parents now live in the Bronx.
Katie was born in Illinois. She spent some time in Colorado, and then her family settled in Cleveland, Ohio.

Where we are now

Katie and Jason are currently living in Seattle, WA.

How we got here

Katie went to college at UCLA, then made her way to Boston for her Ph.D. at Harvard. Jason, meanwhile, went to college at Yale. He also went to Harvard for his Ph.D., where we met. After graduating, we got married and decided to move to Seattle to do our post-doctoral research.
