New address, better blog

Hello my few readers. When I first started my blog, I decided to put it on www.threeps.net (my "personal" website) rather than on www.katie-jason.net (our "family" website). At the time, this seemed to make sense. Well, I've finally convinced Katie to start contributing to the blog, and now it doesn't seem right for my posts and her posts to be in two different locations. So, for those of you who access these blog posts through www.threeps.net/blog, please update your bookmarks to www.katie-jason.net/blog. At this new address, you will see not just my posts, but also Katie's posts. (However, at least a few people, like my Mom, already get to my blog posts through links on katie-jason.net. These people don't need to change anything.)

Ok, I hope this post hasn't been too annoying or confusing. Let me know if you have any problems or questions. I promise in the future to write about more interesting things, like Penelope's new playmat. Well, I actually think Katie should write about that, stay tuned...

Ahh--thank you for the RSS feed link. I couldn't subscribe to the feed before--I kept getting an error. Actually, either I'm not smart enough to figure out your blog, or your blog does not like me: sometimes it shows me only Katie's posts and sometimes it shows me only yours, and sometimes it shows only the public posts. And sometimes, when I log in to threeps.net, it tells me "Access Denied," but then if I go to "Jason's blog," it works just fine. I'm pretty sure this is something on my end, and I am going to blame it on my pregnancy brain while I can, so in sum: yay RSS feed, which seems to solve all the problems. :) Now I won't miss any updates!

Celeste, I'm glad the RSS feeds work for you. Sorry about the other problems that you have been having. It is not just your pregnancy brain (although after experiencing Katie's pregnancy brain, I can confirm that it does cause serious mental decay). I discovered that I had set up some parts of the website incorrectly, which was causing some of the problems you were having. And I recently found the cause of the "Access Denied" errors, so I'm going to try to fix that soon. Anyway, thanks for putting up with all of these inconveniences. It is the downside to trying to do things myself.

They weren't really problems--I'd just go "huh," try again, and then things would work. But really I wouldn't put anything past my pregnancy brain--the other day I bumped my head on a GLASS OF WATER. (I don't even know.) Anyway I think it must be fun (is that the word I want?) to do things yourself... we set up a baby blog on Blogspot recently (link coming soon, when there is actual content there), and while it's been quite easy to use, it's not nearly as flexible as the DIY method...

Yes, I do like the flexibility of doing it myself. Katie might argue that I waste too much time getting things to work right, but I do have a lot of fun with it. I look forward to seeing what a much more professional baby blog looks like (and I'm sure the writing quality will be much better, too :) ). I'll spare Katie the embarrassment of telling stories about her pregnancy brain, although I don't think she has had any run-ins with water. But, one warning. It should really be called pregnancy and newborn brain, because things have not improved very much postpartum. In fact, they may have gotten worse (but you didn't hear that from me). Let's see how this comment gets auto-titled...

Also: I like the auto-titles your blog is choosing for these comments. Especially the last one.

Poor Jason when Katie reads about her post-partum brain...

Yes, I do have baby brain. Maybe one of these days I will be able to remember where I left things and what we need from the store :)
